MASTERS OF MID-CENTURY CALIFORNIA DESIGN: THE STORY OF EVELYN AND JEROME ACKERMAN

The event, sponsored by the Eisenhower Health Center, features a distinguished discussion panel of writers, curators, historians, and gallery directors, all credentialed experts on twentieth century decorative arts. The short film, In Tandem: The Life and Work of Jerry and Evelyn Ackerman produced by Katie Nartonis and Margaret Halkin, will premiere.

The debut of the film coincides with a lecture and book signing for Hand-in-Hand: Ceramics, Mosaics, Tapestries, and Wood Carvings by the California Mid-Century Designers Evelyn and Jerome Ackerman by Dan Chavkin, Lisa Thackaberry, and Jonathan Adler.

Jerry Ackerman, a living national treasure, will attend.

Celebrating fifteen years, the Palm Springs Modernism show and sale features 85 premier national and international decorative and fine arts dealers. Reform Gallery will be present and representing feather artist Nicki Marx.
